“ Good service. Barbecue is not my favorite so I did not like the menu. The place is clean and is nicely decorated. Would return and have a salad. ”
“ Just stopped here for a quick lunch with hubby and a friend. We decided on Salads because the young ladies sitting next to us were having salads too and the looked delicious. What a good idea. Rick had the Bleu Steak. It was Grilled sirloin atop a fresh salad mix with cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, bleu cheese crumbles, and croutons. Rick cleaned his plate. I had the Club Salad. I had a choice of fried or grilled chicken, buffalo chicken, turkey, or ham atop lettuce mixed with egg, bacon cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, shredded cheese, and croutons. I had the grilled Chicken. It was delicious and I have leftovers for dinner. LOL. Our friend had the Pulled Pork Salad. It consisted of Smoked pulled pork served in a fried tortilla bowl atop a bed of romaine with cherry tomatoes, shredded cheese, and banana peppers. I think I'll have this one next time we drive through Marion Ohio. The service was excellent and our waitress was always available to top up drinks with a pleasant smile. ”
“ The shredded pork sandwiches were fantastic. The menu had a wide variety of choices, but the group of us all had the same the pork sandwich, and really enjoyed it. We were greeted promptly and had drinks delivered. Our order was taken and a short time later, the food came. This is a unique location along with the Memphis themed adornments throughout. I would recommend giving this restaurant a try. ”
“ What a true Diamond in the ruff here in Marion, OH. The service was amazing and the food was outstanding. The Smoked flavor was so good and flavorful. Don't sleep on this awesome place, run quickly cause I may pull up and chair and eat it all . These guys are legit and offer the best food around!!! ”
“ We were down here for the New Years Eve Popcorn Drop and wanted something to eat before the ball dropped. Low and behold this place was open for business. It is located in the heart of downtown Marion and there are some free parking lots with 4 hour time limits and street parking available. Now when you walk in you will see a nice looking bar, but do not get too excited, they do not serve alcohol. They have a decent sized dining room with a television. There is also a small but nice patio area in the back. I was not very hungry so I opted to go with their peanut butter and banana sandwich, which came with bacon. I also got a side of their street corn and chips and brisket dip. The littles got some macaroni and chicken tenders with fries. I took about 12 minutes to get our food. The food was good. The chips were a different kind of chips. They looked homemade and it was delicious. The street corn could have been better though. Also, I highly recommend their lemonade. I was putting it down like it was water. The staff there was so very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. They really enhanced my experience. This was a nice spot to have our New Years Eve meal. The only thing that could make it better would have been adult beverages. On a side note, they do have an agreement with a business next door that sells alcohol, where you can purchase it there and bring it into the restaurant. ”
“ Finally! Found a great BBQ spot! Located in Marion, this hidden gem is worth the drive. The owners are originally from Memphis and moved to Ohio, bringing the real deal southern BBQ to the Cbus area. We went at lunch time and learned that they had ribs! Apparently they sell out quickly. Unable to decide on just one kind of meat, we ordered a meal that had brisket, 1/2 chicken, 1/2 slab of ribs, pulled pork and ordered potato salad and Mac n cheese for sides. Corn bread and Texas toast, this was truly a FEAST! Also ordered sweet potato fries with this amazing sweet almost icing-like dipping sauce. This was enough food for 3 people and we did as much damage as we could. Fearing Biblical meat-sweats or an unplanned medical emergency, we threw in the napkin with only a few bites left. Normally when I want to leave a Yelp review of a new place, I make notes and take pics while I'm eating. Literally everything was so good, it didn't cross my mind! That pretty much says it all. When the food is so good that you don't want to disrupt the experience... just enjoy and eat...yup, this was one of those times. I was way too hungry and everything was way too good!! I will be stopping again to do a follow up review with pics. I've been to Central BBQ in Memphis and it was probably the best I've had. It's even topped the brisket I had in San Antonio TX. This place is something special. They've duplicated that smoky and perfectly seasoned flavor that I love. BBQ is subjective. Everyone has their favorite spots. When it comes to BBQ, I will gladly drive the 50 minutes from Polaris to Marion until I've tried everything on their menu. Looking forward to trying the Pork Rinds and desserts next!! ”
“ This is a great little spot for downtown Marion. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. I had the dry rub Nashville Hot wings. They are whole wings, so don't be disheartened when you see the six count on the menu. It's really the equivalent to a dozen wings at most other places. They came out nice and hot and full of flavor. We also got the chicken nachos. The chips in this are amazingly good. Not just run of the mill tortilla chips. I can't even explain them.. just GOOD! ”
“ I was in town for a few hours and we wanted to grab a bite to eat before heading out of Marion. I found this place on Yelp and we went. We were seated immediately and discovered they were not serving beer even though there was a bar with beer signs. We ordered and had decent service. It's a cute place, with brick walls and Memphis decor. We all liked our food. I had the catfish bites, with 2 sides: mac 'n cheese and slaw. The slaw was sweet & creamy like I prefer it to be. I would eat here again if in the area. ”
